About CVS Specialty Pharmacy

As one of the leading and most experienced providers of specialty pharmacy services, CVS Specialty understands the complex nature of injectable, infused and select oral medications. In their commitment to helping patients make the best decisions about their health care, CVS Specialty provides education and support that’s specific to each patient’s condition, even teaching patients how to take their medications correctly and safely.

My role: Senior Manager of UX for CVS Health, responsible for the Specialty app as well as the PBM Caremark App.

Folks I interacted with on a daily basis: Product Managers, Producers, UX designers, IT & Developers, QA, Analytics.

For each of the projects below I was responsible for:
• Working with product managers and business analysts to help define and refine business requirements
• Overseeing and sometimes creating wireframes, copy, annotations, visuals, and design specifications
• Collaborating with IT & development throughout all phases of the project
• Quality assurance

Designing a smarter
store locator

CVS Health has multiple store locator designs with a variety of different experiences for users. The goal was to create a unified – and smarter – locator that could be adopted by other CVS mobile applications, including retail.

• One-tap calling
• Easy-to-read store hours

 

Creating Easier, Faster Log-ins By Adding Touch ID 

Secure Messaging: Connecting patients and their CareTeam with safety and convenience. 

Launched as a pilot program to a subset of Specialty patients, this HIPAA-compliant feature allows for instant communication between patient CareTeams, literally changing the speed and efficiency of the delivery of care.
